See the specific pages on the dropdown menu for details of our remarkable Health Insurance Scheme for example.
We have a Goat Project to help destitute families stand on their own feet – they are provided with a pregnant goat which they take home, then they have to return one of the kids but keep the adult and other kid [s] and hopefully can be better equipped to face the future.
We currently run two Mental Health Outreach clinics a month and are grateful for the new vehicle provided by Jamie’s Fund to facilitate this.
We have a child sponsorship programme, community based rehabilitation and we have delegated responsibility from local government for supervision of the health centres in the Rubabo Health Sub-District. One of our medical officers, Dr. Onesmus Ahabwe, co-ordinates the programme and also works a day a week for North Kigezi Diocese.
We run five outreach clinics a month for child welfare, antenatal care, immunisation, family spacing.
