Kisiizi Hospital Primary School has 350 pupils including boarders. Mr. John Kahanda retired as Headmaster at the end of 2012 and his role has been taken over by Mr. Spencer Tweteise.
The school was originally set up with help from the Spencer Trust to encourage Staff working in the Hospital to stay and not leave when their children reached school age.
The children [and quite a few Staff from the hospital] came running to see when a helicopter landed on the school playing field to collect a patient!
The Primary School has a link with Malmo Borgaskola School, Sweden.
